Bruno COSTES holds a doctorate in physical chemistry and is an engineer. He is currently Director of Institutional Relations and Standardization at AIRBUS, and has initiated a number of projects relating to the Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Mobility, including ECOMODE (an individual account for low-carbon mobility). He is currently Chairman of the Board of the International AerospaceEnvironmental Group, a major forum for environmental and social responsibility issues. He was also mayor of a town of 9,000 inhabitants and community councillor for Toulouse Métropole, and Chairman of the Roads and Infrastructures Commission.
